Lindsey is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. Over the last nine years, Lindsey has worked successfully with children, teenagers, adults of all ages, couples, families and groups.
Lindsey believes in working collaboratively with her clients and empowering them to make important changes in their lives. She is passionate about her work and is also committed to continuous growth and learning in her professional and personal life.
Lindsey provides her clients an empathic and non-judgmental counselling experience, where individual differences and stories are embraced and stories of success and resilience are created.
Lindsey has completed advanced training in Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Divorce and Mediation. She is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver team, working as both a Divorce Coach and Child/Youth Specialist.
She has presented her Collaborative Divorce work Internationally, at venues including the International Association of Collaborative Practice and the International Marriage and Family Therapy conferences. She continues to develop speaking engagements and teachings on the incorporation of Narrative Therapy into the Collaborative practice.
In addition to her private practice, Lindsey has worked for public and non-profit organizations. She has worked as a family counsellor with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, as a clinical addictions counsellor at Maple Ridge Treatment Center, as a group facilitator for parents of children with Down syndrome at the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and as a counsellor at SHARE Family & Community Services.
