I received my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of British Columbia. After graduating law school in 2007, I completed my articles at a national law firm and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2008. While my legal practice began in the areas of wills and estates litigation and family law, I have practiced family law exclusively since June, 2009. For 11 years prior to co-founding Silver Selinger LLP, I practiced family law at a boutique family law firm where I honed my Collaborative practice and out-of-court dispute resolution interests and skills, learning from and working alongside leading family lawyers.
I am a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a current general member and former board member of Collaborative Divorce Vancouver and I sit on the board of directors for the B.C. Collaborative Divorce Roster Society.
I value contributing to ongoing legal education and I have been a regular presenter at events and lectures put on by Continuing Legal Education, the Pacific Business Law Institute, the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, and community resource seminars.
When I’m not running a law practice, I’m planning adventures locally and abroad and exploring the beaches, mountains, farmers markets, donut shops and bike paths with my son.
