Carrie is a Registered Clinical Social Worker and experienced Family Law Dispute Resolution Professional, working as a mental health professional for the last 40 years, Family Mediator and private Therapist for the last 20 years, and Parenting Coordinator since 2013. She is the owner/operator of Dragonfly Counselling, Mediation, and Court Assessments.
Carrie, after working for a number of years in the public health care system, completed her initial training as a mediator, opened her private practice, and taught social work in the private sector. Following her mediation training, Carrie became more involved in the field of family law; assisting families to develop parenting plans and providing assessments for the courts.
Carrie and her husband raised a blended “yours, mine, and ours” family of 7 children who currently reside throughout BC and have contributed 2 grandchildren to the growing flock. Carrie and her husband live in Kamloops, but travel to Northern BC a couple of times a year to visit family, and provide Parenting Coordination and Court Assessments to families living in northern communities.
