Cheryl has worked as a conveyancer and legal assistant for 9 years prior to receiving her notarial commission in 2016. With her wealth of experience in the field she is capable of handling a wide variety of transactions in an efficient manner that saves time and saves her clients’ expense. With respect to academics, Cheryl has a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. During the course of her studies to become a Notary Public, Cheryl achieved top overall marks in the Statutory Exams for her class, as well as top marks in Notarial procedures, contract law, and wills and estates planning. Cheryl emigrated from Hong Kong when she was in elementary school and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Assisting Cheryl as her senior conveyancer and office manager is Eric Tong, who has been working as a conveyancer and legal assistant in a notary public office since 2009. Eric has a wide array of experience in residential and commercial property transactions.
In addition to her professional experience, Cheryl is also heavily involved in her local community through her work with the Vancouver Diamond Lions Club where she served in the Board of Directors since 2011 and as Club President from 2014 to 2015, the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation, and various other charity groups.
Her office is conveniently located at unit 5160 on the 5th floor of the Aberdeen Square office tower at 4000 No. 3 Road, Richmond with convenient parking and transit access via the Canada Line.
