Sandy is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Her practice is dedicated to working with adult individuals, couples, adolescents and families.
By creating a warm, supportive, empathic, and non-judgmental working relationship that is based on mutual trust, Sandy helps her clients positively separate themselves from the problems that disrupt their lives. Her approach is open and down-to-earth.
Sandy works with techniques that incorporate Narrative, Mindfulness, Family Systems, CBT, and Adlerian approaches.

Sandy has additional training in Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy, which allows her to address her clients’ concerns both quickly and completely. She has completed advanced training in Collaborative Divorce and Mediation. Sandy is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver team, working as both a Divorce Coach and Child/Youth Specialist, and is a member of the BC Hear The Child roster.
Sandy offers Clinical Supervision for therapists, students, and therapeutic groups. She creates a collaborative partnership in supervision, facilitating rich conversations that expand understanding of ourselves as therapists while giving practitioners support and a context in which to support their own therapeutic practice.
In addition to her education and experience in private practice, she has also worked in clinical settings with Family Services of Greater Vancouver and Pacific Coast Family Institute.
