Experience

Mr. Gottschalk has over 25 years of experience in investigative accounting and financial litigation support and has lead hundreds of assignments, including high profile matters in Canada and abroad. He has experience in insurance and litigation matters, where he has been accepted as an expert witness. His past experience includes being a partner in the forensic accounting group of Grant Thornton. Mr. Gottschalk was the Chair of the Standards Committee of the CICA’s Alliance for Excellence in IFA and has co-authored publications for the IFA Alliance, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada.

Education

Mr. Gottschalk received his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Professional Development

Mr. Gottschalk is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA). He is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the AICPA, and is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
