My Style
I maintain a family law practice focused on advancing client interests and balancing their expectations, while keeping costs, conflict and emotional stress low. I work with my clients to help achieve favourable legal solutions for their given circumstances and family patterns. My practice emphasizes the use of innovative settlement procedures such as mediation, Collaborative Law, or counseling.
My Background
Born in Montreal, PQ, I received my BA (Psychology & Sociology), in 1992, and LLB in 1996, both from the University of New Brunswick. I then embarked on my legal career, starting in Charlottetown, PEI, then Boston, MA and finally to British Columbia in 2002. I am a member of the PEI Law Society, BC Law Society, and Canadian Bar Association. I have lectured at the UBC Law School and acted as a panelist at continuing legal education functions. I enjoy spending time with my family.
