Lindy, a lifelong Delta resident, enjoys living and working in the area she grew up in. Lindy has been practicing law in South Delta since 2009 and focuses in the area of family and divorce law. Her strengths include the negotiation of fair and cost-effective resolutions to family law disputes. Lindy is trained as a collaborative divorce lawyer and is a firm believer in this approach to family law dispute resolution. She believes that it is in the best interests of children and families to resolve matters outside of the court system.
Lindy volunteers regularly with Access Pro Bono providing legal clinics to individuals of limited means. She recently completed a three year term as a board member for Deltassist and continues to be an active volunteer within the organization. From 2011 to 2015 Lindy was on the Board of Trustees of the Delta Museum and Archives Society, two years as Chair of the Board. Lindy’s professional memberships include Collaborative Divorce Vancouver, Collaborative Roster Society, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Hear the Child Society, the Family Law Subsection, Children’s Law Subsection and Women Lawyers Subsection of the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
In her spare time Lindy enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time by the ocean.
